Marc A Hutchins is an award-winning independent filmmaker and educator with over two decades of experience in media production, project and production management, and teaching.

As a filmmaker, Marc started Alexander Films in 2003, supporting local productions while producing commercials, industrial videos, broadcast programs, short and independent feature films. He is an experienced producer, production manager, and production coordinator, with responsibilities to include scheduling and budgeting, hiring crew and talent, coordinating travel, housing, and meals, and managing and directing large crews and talent over multi-week productions. In addition, Marc has worked as a writer, director, director of photography, chief lighting technician, location manager, and more, on commercials and independent feature films, many of which have seen both domestic and international releases.

As an educator, Marc has developed and taught curriculum for community and collegiate communication and film courses, inspiring his students to create award-winning media.

Marc is a USMC and Desert Storm veteran.
